What happened

The one-year fellowship includes a nine-month newsroom placement, a remote 10-week AI journalism course and a weeklong summit in the San Francisco Bay Area. Stipends are about US$60,000 to US$80,000, or US$90,000 to US$110,000 for senior fellows.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Evidence rather than policy — useful for understanding a trend.
• Useful if you are trying to build a startup or explore opportunities.
