CBSE gets a new chairperson as board prepares for 2026-27 exams

What happened

Mandeep K Bhandari, a 2001-batch IAS officer, was appointed CBSE chairperson on September 25. He is the third person to head the board since June, as it prepares for the 2026-27 board exams.
