Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship opens for young African entrepreneurs

What happened

African students and recent graduates can apply by December 1, 2026 for an 8-month online entrepreneurship programme. It offers training, mentorship and a chance at a $500 CAD stipend or pitch prizes up to $15,000 CAD.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Something has opened that was not open before — worth checking whether you are eligible.
• Useful if you are trying to explore opportunities.
