What happened

A proposal has been put forward to ban the sale of energy drinks inside and around schools, with fines of up to Rs200,000 for violations. The proposal was discussed during a meeting of the Senate Standing Committee on Science and Technology, chaired by Senator Kamil Ali Agha.
