IGNOU gives extra time to enrol in ODL and online UG, PG and diploma courses

What happened

Fresh registrations for the July 2026 cycle now close on October 13, 2026. The extension covers ODL and online UG, PG, PG Diploma and Diploma programmes, but not certificate or semester-based courses.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• More places or more money than before.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
• Affects students in India.
