Haryana NMMS 2026-27: Class 8 students can apply from 24 September to 24 October

What happened

SCERT Haryana has opened the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship exam for Class 8 students in government and aided schools. Selected students get ₹1,000 a month for Classes 9 to 12. The exam is on 29 November 2026.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Evidence rather than policy — useful for understanding a trend.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
• Affects students in India.
