Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholar Awards 2027 open to student journalists

What happened

Undergraduate and graduate students in North America, or Americans studying abroad, can apply by November 15, 2026. Winners receive a $3,000 scholarship or a $4,000 fellowship at a news bureau such as the Associated Press, Reuters or Bloomberg.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Approved, so it is now going ahead rather than being proposed.
• Useful if you are trying to explore opportunities.
• Affects students in the US.
