Science Academies Summer Research Fellowship 2027 opens for students and teachers

What happened

Applications are open for the two-month fellowship, organised by three national science academies. Students in eligible undergraduate, postgraduate and integrated programmes, plus college teachers, can apply by November 30, 2026.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Something has opened that was not open before — worth checking whether you are eligible.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
• Affects students in India.
