IIITDM Kancheepuram opens Visvesvaraya post-doctoral fellowship applications

What happened

The one-year fellowship pays Rs 1,08,393 per month plus a Rs 1 lakh contingency grant. Applicants must have completed a PhD within five years, be under 40, and submit a research proposal in ESDM, IT or ITES.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Approved, so it is now going ahead rather than being proposed.
• Useful if you are trying to get a job or graduate.
