ICAR PG and PhD Counselling 2026 Round 1 Registration Open Until October 2

What happened

ICAR has opened Round 1 registration for PG courses other than the Veterinary stream and for PhD courses. Eligible candidates must register and fill their choices in order of preference by October 2, 2026.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Evidence rather than policy — useful for understanding a trend.
• Useful if you are trying to explore opportunities.
• Affects students in India.
