Dow University nursing students protest after 1,400 fail English Literature re-take exams

What happened

About 1,900 students sat the Semester 4 exams at nursing colleges linked to Dow University in Karachi. Protesters want the re-take date sheet cancelled, the exams postponed, lower re-take fees and a later voucher deadline.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Cancelled outright. Anyone depending on it needs a new plan.
• Useful if you are trying to get into university or find an internship.
• Affects students in the UK.
