Arizona State University launches 3-year teaching degrees in October

What happened

ASU will offer three-year bachelor's pathways for future elementary and special education teachers, in person and online. The aim is to cut the cost of qualifying, as teacher shortages persist in special education and rural schools.

Why it may matter

• More places or more money than before.
• Useful if you are trying to get into university.
• Affects students in the US.
