$30,000 Work//Shift Fellowship 2026: 12-Month Opportunity for Gig Workers, Freelancers and Independent Workers

What happened

The Research to Impact Lab (R2I Lab) is inviting applications for the Work//Shift Fellowship, a 12-month programme for people interested in reimagining the future of work and developing new ideas around worker protections and social safety nets.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Something has opened that was not open before — worth checking whether you are eligible.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or build a startup.
