CBSE opens private candidate registration for Class 10 and 12 board exams 2027

What happened

Registration runs from October 8 to October 23, 2026 on cbse.gov.in and cbseit.in. Private candidates sit the February to April 2027 exams and follow the same syllabus as regular 2027 students.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Evidence rather than policy — useful for understanding a trend.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
• Affects students in India.
