What happened

Regular academic activities at the Rajpura, Punjab campus are suspended for four days, declared non-teaching working days. Faculty and staff must report as usual, and classes are scheduled to resume on October 5.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Cancelled outright. Anyone depending on it needs a new plan.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
• Affects students in India.
