Fully funded 12-month Africa fellowship for young professionals opens applications

What happened

The Umholi we Africa Fellowship Cohort 5 is taking applications until 31 October 2026. Fellows work in government and policy roles in their home country, with training starting June 2027.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Evidence rather than policy — useful for understanding a trend.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or study abroad.
