IGNOU extends July 2026 admission deadline to October 13

What happened

Fresh applications for the July 2026 session can now be submitted until October 13, 2026, past the earlier September 30 date. The extension covers programmes on the admission portal except Certificate and Semester-based Programmes.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• More places or more money than before.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
