UGC NET December 2026 registration open until October 28, exam from December 14 to 19

What happened

The National Testing Agency has opened applications for the UGC-NET December 2026 exam, which will be held in computer-based mode for 87 subjects.

Why it may matter

• This is time-bound — there is an application or deadline involved, so check the dates before they pass.
• Approved, so it is now going ahead rather than being proposed.
• Useful if you are trying to find an internship or get a job.
